Kathryn Masten, Ph.D. brings more than thirty years of experience in rural community informatics, the use of information and communication technology – particularly in maritime communities threatened by climate change. A former professor of library and information science, Kathryn helps nonprofits and public agencies build the skills, systems, and confidence they need to thrive—specializing in grant writing training, organizational capacity‑building, and practical technology adoption for small and rural organizations. Retired after nearly 40 years with Xerox Corporation as a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect, Randy combines his expertise in systems integration and passion for innovating to pursue a vision of abundant energy. Randy’s current project is to convert a sailing catamaran into a “smart” catamaran powered by 100% solar energy.
