9/26/21: To support our flagship e-powered catamaran conversion project (converting our 34ft catamaran from a sail/diesel hybrid to a 100% renewable energy power boat), Randy has created an alternative design for electric motor mounts in boats that use saildrives instead of traditional driveshafts. While speed reduction is likely needed, belt drives are reasonable alternatives to gears, and access to the belt is a valuable feature.
